It has been years since Sachin Tendulkar and Brett Lee fought it out on a cricket field but it looks like the camaraderie between the two cricketing legends is as strong as it was during their playing days. Both the players shared a fierce rivalry on the field but mutual respect for each other made them a pleasure to watch for the fans.

Well, the recent exchange of messages on Twitter between Tendulkar and Lee is bound to leave the fans with a broad smile. It all began when Lee posted a photo of a fan on Instagram with a tattoo of Sachin Tendulkar on his chest.

Lee, who is currently in Karnataka to commentate in the ongoing Karnataka Premier League, uploaded the picture with the caption: “Hey @sachintendulkar I think I have found your biggest fan! 1 Proud supporter for sure. I promised him I would show you so here it is #ink.”

Sachin took a while to reply to the message but came up with an interesting message as he tweeted: “Thanks Binga! You’ve at last yorked me here… ? A big thank you to the fan for all his support ?,”

One of the greatest pacers of all time, Lee enjoyed a very successful outing against India. The right-arm pacer made his Test debut against India and took 53 wickets in 12 games. In ODIs, he took 55 wickets in 32 games against the Men in Blue.

Tendulkar also has a very impressive record against the team from Down Under. The Master Blaster played 39 Tests against Australia,  scoring 3630 runs at an average of 55.00 with the help of 11 centuries and 16 half-centuries.  In ODIs, he scored 3077 runs in 71 matches including nine centuries.
