SunRisers Hyderabad seamer Sandeep Sharma has filled the void of Bhuvneshwar Kumar exceedingly well in IPL 2020. Sandeep Sharma has given the SunRisers Hyderabad a dream start in the ongoing clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Sharjah, claiming the wickets of Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli. The seamer was able to cross a tally of 50 wickets in the first six overs in IPL.
Zaheer Khan, who played for Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils, and Mumbai Indians during his IPL career, heads the list with 52 wickets. Sandeep Sharma stands a genuine chance of overtaking Zaheer Khan in the next game against Mumbai Indians, which would be the Orange Army’s final game of this season. Sandeep has also dismissed Virat Kohli seven times in the cash-rich league.

SunRisers Hyderabad, who won the toss, elected to bowl first and made one change, drafting Abhishek Sharma for the injured Vijay Shankar. On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore carried on a couple of changes, benching Shivam Dube for paceman Navdeep Singh and Isuru Udana for Dale Syen.
Sandeep Sharma became only the second bowler to take 50 wickets in IPL history:
