Former Indian batting coach, Sanjay Bangar has opened up on MS Dhoni returning to cricket with the 13th season of the Indian Premier League. Dhoni will be leading the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the tournament beginning from 29th March this year.
Dhoni has been away from international cricket for a long time now. He was last seen in the Indian colours in the semi-final of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019.
Unfortunately, India was eliminated from the tournament and MS Dhoni has been absent since then.

“It is tough to find the rhythm initially but it can also be a huge advantage because when you are playing international cricket, the amount of pressure that you are under, you sort of get into a tunnel vision with regard to various responsibility and the needs of the team,” said Bangar.
“So from a player perspective if he (Dhoni) has taken a break for 6-7 months, he has a good chance to rediscover, refresh and reinvent,” he added.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will start their IPL 2020 campaign against defending champions Mumbai Indians on March 29 at the Wankhede Stadium in what will be a repeat of last year’s final.
Majority of the CSK squad including Dhoni himself have started their preparations for this year’s IPL.
The players are currently in Chennai training and gearing up to win the title for the fourth time.
