Earlier, Sharjeel Khan was charged with five major breaches owing to the anti-corruption code of the PCB. Burly Sharjeel was found guilty on all the five counts. The probe was carried out by a three-man tribunal. It must be noted that out of the five years, two and a half years are suspended.
However, he hasn’t accepted the charges laid on him, hence, tried to fight it out legally. However, in the latest development, he has allowed all those five charges in order to make a return to the International Cricket as quickly as possible.

We have asked PCB chairman – Sharjeel Khan lawyer
He was asked to serve a ban for his involvement in the match-fixing saga in the Pakistan Super League. Sharjeel Khan replaced for Islamabad United, where he was asked to make a return back home just after the claims were made.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that Sharjeel Khan’s lawyer asked the board to allow him to play in the domestic circuit. However, it needs to get approval from the chairman of the respective cricket board.
”Sharjeel has in his application accepted the ban imposed on him by the tribunal which means that he has accepted the five charges that were laid out against him under the anti-corruption code,” Ejaz said.

“We have asked the PCB Chairman to allow Sharjeel to resume playing club and domestic cricket before his ban ends in August. The Chairman has to get an approval of the Board of Governors to allow this under a clause of the anti-corruption code,” the lawyer said.
Well, it would be interesting to see how things would turn out for the left-handed batsman. He was banned from the game of cricket when he was at peak of his cricketing career.
