Shikhar Dhawan Expresses his Pleasure to Share the Field with 'True Proteas Legend' AB de Villiers

The date 23rd May 2018 would forever get etched in the memories of ardent AB de Villiers’ fans and cricket lovers.

One of the contemporary greats of the game announced his retirement from international cricket with immediate effect on Wednesday.

India international and Sunrisers Hyderabad opener, Shikhar Dhawan, expressed his pleasure to share the field in many a battle with the Protea legend.

Both Dhawan and De Villiers have shared the field on multiple occasions whenever India faced South Africa. The two also represented Delhi Daredevils for first few years of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

De Villiers took to social media to announce his retirement from all form of the game, with just months to go for the World Cup of 2019, in England.
