Shikhar Dhawan Reveals Song Preferences Of Virat Kohli, Leaves Everyone in Splits

Shikhar Dhawan is often known for his fun-loving character on and off the field. And also, he is one of the close members to Indian National Cricket Team skipper Virat Kohli. The duo has started their career mostly at the same time and scaled newer heights to reach the highest level of the game.

Recently, in the event of unveiling Virat Kohli’s stand in Delhi’s Ferozshah Kotla stadium, Shikhar Dhawan was asked to reveal the song preferences of the Indian skipper. In reply, Dhawan asked the host whether his preferences before getting married or after getting married, which all the people present in the function in splits.

DDCA unveils Virat Kohli stand:

The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) unveiled a new pavilion stand bearing his name at the Feroz Shah Kotla in recognition of his contribution to the game. The DDCA also renamed the Feroz Shah Kotla as Arun Jaitley stadium in memory of the late politician-cum-sports-administrator during DDCA’s Annual Awards function.

Virat Kohli, his family, as well as the members of Team India attended the unveiling ceremony on Thursday. Home Minister Amit Shah digitally inaugurated the renamed Arun Jaitley Stadium, as well as the Virat Kohli Stand.

The Indian captain took to his social media profiles to thank the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA). “Thank you @delhi_cricket and @BCCI for bestowing this honour upon me. The pavilion will remind me of my journey in life and in cricket but most importantly I hope it will serve as an inspiration for the next generation of young cricketers of our nation,” Virat wrote on Twitter.

It was Ravi Shastri, who was first asked to reveal the type of songs Kohli listens to during his leisure time. “You should put Dhawan and Kohli together, and see the result, there will only be songs all around. He (Dhawan) is sitting behind, you should ask him.”

Dhawan, who is known for his sense of humour, responded to the question as he asked, “Before marriage or after marriage?” before adding, “Virat loves to hear Punjabi songs. He is also very fond of listening to Gurdas Maan’s songs.”

On the work front, Team India will now travel to Dharamshala where they take on South Africa in the first of the three-match T20I series.
