India’s middle-order batsman, Shreyas Iyer has revealed his five role models who have inspired him in his cricketing journey so far. Iyer has been in fine form recently and looks like a permanent find for the number four slot in the Indian team.

Team India has long been facing a problem of a permanent number four, especially in the ODIs. This, in fact, became one of the key reasons behind India’s exit from the 2019 World Cup.

Shreyas Iyer also took his time out for his fans and did a Q&A session on Twitter. On being asked about his five role models, Iyer revealed that his five role models are Sachin Tendulkar, Kevin Pietersen, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and AB de Villiers.

Iyer Picks All The Legends In His List

Shreyas Iyer has been spot on with his choice of players as all the players that he chose have been absolute legends of the game.

Talking about Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, he has been the best player ever to grace the field of cricket. Tendulkar has broken and set all the records that there are to.
