Sourav Ganguly Takes a Dig at Samip Rajguru Over Fitness of Former Players

The former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly took a sly dig at journalist Samip Rajguru. The journalist came up with a Tweet which said that he is surprised to see the Indian players without any belly. However, Samip said that he hasn???t seen Indian players without a belly in his career. Thus, Samip tried to question the fitness of the former players. However, he said that there were some exceptions also.

Subsequently, Sourav Ganguly replied to the post and told the journalist that he hasn???t come up faulty tweet like this one in his career. Meanwhile, Samip Rajguru and Sourav Ganguly share a cordial relationship as Samip has interviewed Ganguly on multiple occasions.

Ganguly was not impressed with the tweet.

On the other hand, the current Indian players are at the top of their fitness. The players are required to go through the Yo-Yo Test before they can make themselves available for the national selection.

In fact, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli has led from the front in the fitness world. Kohli has injected the fitness goals within the team and all the Indian players have paid extra importance to fitness.

Meanwhile, India is currently locking horns with Australia in the second Test match at Perth. Australia had posted 326 runs in their batting innings after good knocks from Marcus Harris, Aaron Finch and Travis Head. All the three batsmen scored fifties to help Australia reach a competitive total.

Samip Rajguru took to his Twitter account to share his thoughts on Indian players fitness. The post read as, ???Isn???t it a bit strange to see Indian players without a belly???sab ke sab flat screens???maine apne career mai bina ????????? ke Indian players nahi dekhe..exceptions apart???.

Meanwhile, Sourav Ganguly wasn???t impressed with the Tweet and replied, ???Isssee galat tweet apne last kab kiya hai????.
