The legendary all-rounder from South Africa Cricket Board (SACB), Saait Magiet passed away aged 66 on Tuesday in Malaysia. During the Apartheid regime, he was arguably the best all-rounder of South African for the non-ethnic SACB.

During the period of WP in the 1970s and 1980s, he became a vigorous force to drive behind the dominance of Howa Bowl in the Western Province Cricket Board.

Moreover, Saait was more effective with the ball, as he had 171 wickets at a prolific average of 12.99. Until his retirement in 1991, Magiet remained a gallant of the non-racial South African Council on Sports (SACOS). Due to apartheid, Saait Magiet missed playing for South Africa.

The job of coaching.

Saait Magiet garnered a huge success by coaching the Western Province Under-19 Khaya Majola team for many years after the unification of South Africa.
