Exactly, five years back from now, the cricketing world was shell-shocked with the allegations on the aggressive, fast bowler, Sreesanth. The charges were made on Sreesanth of spot-fixing to bowl one over in the IPL, as per the instructions of the bookies. Meanwhile, the life ban on him followed it. Now, Bhuvneshwari, Sreesanth’s wife sends a letter to BCCI.
Reveal the names, asks his wife
In her letter, she wrote in detail that Sreesanth had never welcomed any bookie to deliver as per needs. Bhuvneshwari revealed they accused him of giving 13 runs in the over, but she cited that the runs were leaked because Adam Gilchrist was batting on the crease.
Further, she also asked BCCI to hear the audio tapes, where commentators told saying, only a class player like Adam Gilchrist can knock such delivery for a boundary. She meant her husband had bowled his heart out for his side in the game.
Then, she went on to add her husband used the towel, as there was 48-degree heat on that day. Speaking of the Jiju, who got accused as bookie was a professional Ranji bowler, who played cricket alongside him.
Injustice Anywhere is a threat to Justice everywhere:
Speaking of the policeman, who handled the case. Bhuvneshwari quoted the officer was someone, who was under tremendous pressure over Nirbhaya case and to make things divert, he accused a false case on Sreesanth.
She also cited the fast bowler got discharged from the fixing charges in 2015. Speaking of the zero-tolerance policy, Bhuvneshwari asked BCCI to reveal the remaining names on the envelope submitted by Mudgal Committee.
Meanwhile, the Kerala fast bowler is currently a participant in the reality show named Bigg Boss. Recently, he spoke on certain issues he experienced in his international career and was in tears as well.
