Australia is currently gearing up for the four-match Test series in the Rainbow Nation. Meanwhile, they are playing a warm-up game against the South Africa A side. The Aussies have so far displayed some good cricket. However, everything didn’t go well for the Aussies as Cameron Bancroft suffered a wardrobe malfunction.

Meanwhile, Bancroft put up a good show with the bat scoring 45 runs during Australia’s first innings. He was the second highest scorer as they ended at 329 in the first innings.

Bancroft suffers wardrobe malfunction:

Bancroft was standing in the slips when the ball trickled down to the third-man boundary. The Australian opener made his way to the boundary, but a small mishap from Bancroft left Australian skipper Steve Smith laugh uncontrollably.

Speaking to the media after the days play, Bancroft explained in detail about the mishap. He also admitted that the teammates don’t miss on anything to make fun.

Obviously I field at bat-pad a fair bit, so I keep my jockstrap with my box in it,” Bancroft said. “An old jockstrap just sort of snapped a bit down the bottom so the box part was hanging out and moving around a fair bit in there. It caused a little bit of awkwardness in my running, and the boys they don’t miss anything,” he added.
