Hayden was one of the best openers.

Hayden scored 8625 runs in his career of 103 Test matches. The combative batsman also amassed 6133 runs in 161 One Day Internationals. The left-hander was also part of two World Cup titles for the Australia team.

In fact, Hayden had also scored the highest score of 380 runs against Zimbabwe which was again broken by Brian Charles Lara who went on to score 400 against England.

On the other hand, Suresh Raina is currently out of the Indian team. Raina had received his opportunity for the tour of England. However, the left-hander could not grab his chance with both hands as his performances were mundane.

Therefore, Raina was subsequently dropped from the Indian squad. The Uttar Pradesh player also could not come up with eye-catching performances in the recently concluded Deodhar Trophy. Consequently, he could not find his place for the T20I series against the Windies. Furthermore, Raina also could make the cut into the squad for the Australia tour.

Thus, Raina will have to come up with special performances to get his place back in the Indian squad. However, it seems like a difficult road for Raina.
