There are quite a few players in the world cricket, who will be remembered for their extraordinary efforts with the bat or the ball. But, there is only one player, who will be forever recollected when the matter is about the art of fielding. Yes, you guessed it right, it is Jonty Rhodes. He has been such a revelation in the fielding section. Meanwhile, he picks Suresh Raina in the top of his 5-member list.
Jonty Rhodes has always dominated the charts when it comes to fielding. He was the one, who made unthinkable happen many times for his respective times. Meanwhile, in a special interview, Jonty Rhodes picks his 5 best fielders of all-time.
Suresh Raina is my favourite fielder:
In total, he chose 2 Proteas players, one from Australia, England and India. Coming from bottom to the top, he chose the all-time Australian great Andrew Symonds in the fifth place. Jonty termed that Symonds got the best arm in the outfield.

Further, he picked up Herschelle Gibbs on his side at fourth place. He feels that Gibbs has got the best hands in the fielding section. Jonty also quoted that it was fun for him to field alongside Gibbs in the point region.
At third place, Jonty Rhodes picked England’s best fielder of all-time Paul Collingwood. He has always been their best player, who showed his skills in all sections of the game. Currently, Collingwood is looking after the fielding section of the team in a coaching role.

Then, Rhodes embedded another South African player to the list. He chose the Superman of cricket AB de Villiers. He believes that AB de Villiers can field at any position for the team and also highlighted his wicket keeping ability.
And finally, coming to the top of the table, Jonty Rhodes picked Suresh Raina. He called him as his favourite fielder for his exceptional commitment on the field. Rhodes believes that fielding in Indian conditions is tough for any player.
Thanking Rhodes, Suresh Raina tweeted ”So glad to have retained my number 1 spot on your list all these years,
@JontyRhodes8 ! You’ve always inspired me by setting the highest standards on the field!
