As it happened:
Coming to the match, it was Dwayne Bravo-led side, who won the toss and asked Bengal Tigers to bat first. They haven’t got the best of the starts, as Luke Wright, Sam Billings and Sherfane Rutherford walked back for cheap scores.
However, Sunil Narine and Mohammad Nabi combined to smash it for their side. The duo found the fence more often than not to push for a massive total on the board. Nabi smashed 46 runs off 16 deliveries.
However, the late blitz by Riki Wessels and Usman helped Bengal to put a 136-run target for Maratha Arabians. In reply, they have got flashy start with Alex Hales going berserk all the way. He smashed 87 off 32 balls to keep the chase on.
Sammy-led Northern Warriors lift trophy
In the end, it was Dwayne Bravo, who smashed 27 runs off nine balls to guide his side to victory. All in all, it was a high-scoring affair, which kept fans on the edge of the seats. Unfortunately, none of the sides reached the finals of the tournament. Northern Warriors-led by Darren Sammy has bagged the championship after knockin Pakhtoons out in the final.
