The recently concluded U-19 World Cup gave emergence to several young stars who have gone on to make a huge bid in the Indian Premier League auctions and are in line to represent their countries at the highest level.

There have been some sensational fast bowlers who have regularly clocked more than 145 km/hr, and the most prominent of them was the Indian fast bowling duo of Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Shivam Mavi who tormented the opposition batting line-ups on a consistent basis.

Eventually, it was the Indian colts who secured their 4th title win beating Australia in the final of the tournament. It was a special inning from the blade of Manjot Kalra and some consistent bowling which helped India lift the title. They were unbeaten all through the tournament and brought out their best game in the final.

Prithvi Shaw who was India’s skipper in their tourney was one of their pillars in the batting line-up alongside Shubman Gill. Shaw started off with a brilliant 94 in the opening encounter and followed it up with some gritty innings but failed to convert it into a big one. In the Quarterfinal of the tournament, Prithvi was batting very well when an outswinger by Qazi Onik.

It was indeed a terrific delivery, and Shaw had no answer to the delivery. It seamed away after pitched and disturbed the timbers. However, all the drama was not about the dismissal. When you see the footage of the dismissal, you will surely see the speedometer clocking as much as 160 km/hr. There is no about the fact it was a great delivery, but under no stress of imagination, it was a delivery bowled at nearly 100 m/hr.

If you look closely at the screen, then you can surely see the speedometer shows 160 km/hr before the ball is actually delivered. So it will surely be a technical glitch. However, the teenager will be happy to see the speed of his delivery and will soon like to resemble the likes of Shoaib Akhtar, the Brett Lee’s and the Wasim Akram’s.
