The in-form batsman of the Indian National Cricket Team Shreyas Iyer is set to watch NBA All-Star Weekend live from the court in Chicago. After having a sensational series under his belt in New Zealand, Iyer decided to enjoy this weekend in Chicago amidst the crazy celebration of Basketball with legends in the sport.

The 69th NBA All-Star 2020 will bring together the most talented and passionate players in the league’s history for a global celebration of the game.

The 69th NBA All-Star Game, which will take place on Sunday, at the United Center, Chicago will reach fans in more than 200 countries and territories in more than 40 languages.

Speaking of the same, Iyer stated that he is pretty excited to attend the event and shout for his favourites like any other fan during the progress of the game.

Iyer expressed that it is his dream to watch players like LeBron James and Dwight Howard performing live. He wants to experience the moment wholeheartedly.

Commenting on his visit, Iyer said “I’m thrilled to have this wonderful opportunity to witness the NBA All-Star action live from courtside. It’s a dream to watch basketball greats and living legends like LeBron James and Dwight Howard up close in action, and the fan in me just wants to scream of jubilation as I await being there.

“I look forward to experiencing the culture and fan craze of a different level that I have seen on TV till now while growing up,” he added.

On the work front, Iyer had a sensational series in New Zealand and will have a much-needed rest before joining the troops for the series against South Africa.

Following ODI series at home, Iyer will join Delhi Capitals (DC) to lead them in the much-awaited 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
