New Zealand’s fast bowler Tim Southee is ecstatic after their series win against India in the ODIs. The Kiwis recently beat India in the first two games of the three-match ODI series. This way, the Black Caps became the first side to beat India in a bilateral series since the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019. The Kiwis avenged their T20 series loss (5-0) by winning back-to-back ODIs.
For India, the defeat came as more of a shock. Especially after dominating New Zealand in the T20 series, nobody thought that India will succumb in this manner. Since the loss has come after a long time, it is now time for the team to sit back and introspect as to what went wrong for them in the process.
Moreover, the team management should also think about the possible changes that they need to undertake for the team to win.

Tim Southee Ecstatic After ODI Series Win Over India:
The entire Kiwi team is joyous after the win against India. Tim Southee also spoke to the media before the final ODI and said, “It is always great to play India. Obviously the T20 series did not go according to plan but the one-day games have been great. The one-day side played some great cricket for a while, although we are missing a couple of guys.”
Southee also hinted that the Kiwis will go for a clean sweep and they are ready for it. “We will do what we do and the result will take care of itself. We want to keep playing the way we have been playing and it is nice to win the series already; but to win another game, it is always nice,” he added.
India will take on New Zealand in the final game of the series at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui on February 11. When the two teams will face-off, India will play for pride. New Zealand, on the other hand, will eye a clean sweep and look to avenge the T20 series defeat.
