10. Zimbabwe – 4

The Zimbabwean team was believed to be one of the brilliant strengths of World Cricket in the late nineties. Players like Alastair Campbell, Stuart Carlisle, Andy, and Grant Flower were simply outstanding. However, due to various political issues, this side has faced a regular decline in the bar graph since 2004.
In this chart, they found 10th place, as they managed to register only 4 double centuries in their history so far. Dave Houghton, Andy Flower, Guy Whittall, and Grant Flower are the four cricketers to register them.
9. Bangladesh – 5

Bangladesh became a test playing nation only in the late 1990’s so it is understandable why their century tally is a bit low. They managed to find 9th place in the chart with 5 double centuries.
They have produced some excellent batsmen in the likes of Habibul Bashar, Khaled Mashud and others in the last decade. Currently, talented players like Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim, and others are looking after the statistics.
Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Shakib Al Hasan are the three cricketers to achieve the feat for Bangladesh.
8. New Zealand – 28

Scoring runs in New Zealand conditions is always a tough task. They got the brilliant conditions for the bowlers to bowl with full venom. Despite that, they managed to get 28 double centuries in their kitty. They were never the super heavyweights of the game but were always the dark horses.

However, the kiwi’s have produced some fine batsmen like Stephen Fleming and Brendon McCullum, Ross Taylor, Kane Williamson. In total, 16 members contributed to New Zealand to register such tallies.
7. South Africa – 29

South Africa unit has never been short of talent and they feature as the 7th team in our list with 29 individual double centuries. They have witnessed a number of great batsmen in the likes of Gary Kirsten, Herschelle Gibbs, Jonty Rhodes, Graeme Smith, AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla, and Faf du Plessis.
Much like New Zealand, South Africa also required 15 players to register 29 double centuries in the Test format of the game.
6. Sri Lanka – 35

The Island nation always relied their trust on only a few batsmen, who use to score runs on a consistent basis. If someone asks about the best batting lineup in Test cricket, the old cricketers would recall the Sri Lankan team as the best.
Sanath Jayasuriya, Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Arjuna Ranatunga, Aravinda De Silva, Angelo Mathews everyone delivered for Sri Lanka. Guess what? Only 10 members helped Sri Lanka to have 35 Double centuries with Kumar Sangakkara scoring the most number of doubles.
5. Pakistan – 43

Not only bowlers but also Pakistan has also produced a number of great batsmen over the years who have taken the count on the rise. Players like Javed Miandad, Aamir Sohail, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Younis Khan and others have been brilliant.
Even now, they got solid batsmen in their arsenal to increase the count. In total, 21 players knocked double centuries for Pakistan in Test cricket.
4. West Indies – 52

The West Indian batsmen have always been brutal customers of the game when it comes to stroke-making. Sir Viv Richards was a great batsman. His legacy was carried on well by the like of Brian Lara, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and the present generation cricketers in the likes of Chris Gayle and others have increased the count.
The West Indies unit has managed to score as many as 52 double centuries with 28 members delivering the goods.
3. India – 55

The Indian National Cricket Team has always been blessed with great players over the years. We always got the best batting lineup that can counter any attack on their days. The likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, and Sourav Ganguly used to tear apart the opposition while Virat Kohli, Cheteshwar Pujara are making things fall in place for India.

2. England – 61

One of the regular names that come to mind when we hear Test cricket is all about England. They showed why the game of cricket is called a gentleman sport with their unique traditions. The batsmen of England has also got a class attached to their stroke-making.
The likes of Alastair Cook, Joe Root, Kevin Pietersen, Ian Botham, and Ian Bell have always been their consistent scores during their times. Even now, they got quality batsmen in their kitty. On the whole, 36 played smashed 61 double centuries for England.
1. Australia – 75

The powerhouse of cricket Australia once again tops the list. They got quite a few stunning players in their cricketing history, who delivered the goods more often than not. Thus, seeing their name on the chart isn’t a surprise for many cricketing fanatics.
There have also been a number of brilliant players in the likes of Allan Border, Ricky Ponting, Steve Waugh, Mark Waugh, Mathew Hayden, Adam Gilchrist and others who have been instrumental to the count.
