We came across fans taking autographs in various methods from their superstars. A few like to have the autographed jerseys while a few ask for an autograph on caps. However, in New Zealand, we came across a weird scenario when Trent Boult accepted to give his autograph on an onion. Yes, you are
Kiwis speedster Boult had a fantastic game to his name at Christchurch. He never allowed batsmen to settled in the middle and walked the talk by dismissing Virat Kohli with a bouncer.
The flamboyant cricketer Boult played a key role in restricting India–to a low score, which was chased down later.
Trent Boult delivers again for New Zealand:

In a video that has surfaced on social media, Boult can be seen giving autographs to a section of fans in between the match.
Some of the fans came up with a weird request as they chanted – ‘sign the onion’ – with one of the fans also carrying a huge onion in his hand.
Boult didn’t disappoint the fans and left his autograph even on the onion.

Coming back from an injury, Boult made an immediate impact for his team as he ended up being the second-highest wicket-taker (11) after Tim Southee (14).

Boult claimed two four-wicket hauls and also contributed lower down the order with the bat to frustrate Indian bowlers. Boult scored 38 runs in the Wellington Test – where he added a quick 38-run stand for the last wicket with Ajaz Patel (4).
Earlier, New Zealand were all out for 235 in reply to India’s 242 with Mohammed Shami claiming four wickets.
In second innings Kiwis bowlers strangulated India at 124. Thus, the visitors had set the target (including a slender seven-run lead) of 132 for the Black Caps.
On day three, the hosts chased the target with seven wickets in hand, to clean sweep the tw0-match Test series.
