Tri-Series 2018: Indian Player Ratings for the Second T20I

India won the second T20I of the Hero Nidahas Trophy 2018 by six wickets at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. India won the toss and chose to field first. The Indian team went in with the same XI which played in the first match against Sri Lanka.
Bangladesh scored 139/8n in the 20 overs allotted to them. Liton Das was the top scorer for Bangladesh as he scored 34. Sabbir Rahman also played a handy innings of 30 in the lower middle order and helped his team reach a respectable total of 139.
Jaydev Unadkat was the pick of the bowlers for India as he picked up three wickets in his four overs. Vijay Shankar who was playing his second international match also picked up two wickets. Yuzvendra Chahal and Shardul Thakur picked up one wicket each.
Shikhar Dhawan scored his second consecutive T20I half as he guided India to a comfortable victory by six wickets with nine balls remaining.
Suresh Raina and Manish Pandey played handy innings of 28 and 27 runs respectively.
Robel Hossain was the pick of the bowlers for Bangladesh as he picked up two wickets. India chased down the target in 18.4 overs.

Rohit Sharma- (2/10)

Rohit Sharma’s misery with the bat continued as he scored just 17 in the second T20I after he failed to open his account in the first match. However, his captaincy skills were upto the mark in the match as he made intelligent bowling changes.
Shikhar Dhawan-(7/10)
Shikhar Dhawan scored his second consecutive half century in the second match against Bangladesh. Dhawan scored an impressive 55 at the top of the order to guide India towards victory.
RIshabh Pant- (2/10)
Rishabh Pant failed to impress the fans and selectors in the second match as well as he played on a delivery bowled by Rubel Hossain on just seven.
Suresh Raina- (5/10)
Suresh Raina played a sensible innings of 28 off 27 deliveries and was involved in a handy partnership with opener Shikhar Dhawan.
Manish Pandey-(5/10)
Manish Pandey guided India to victory as he played few shots coming in at number five. He hit three boundaries in 15 balls and remained unbeaten at 27.
Dinesh Karthik- (4/10)
Indian wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik came to the crease when India needed just 14 runs. He along with Manish Pandey guided India to victory. He remained unbeaten at 2.
Vijay Shankar – (6/10)
Playing just his second international match, Vijay Shankar bowled an impressive spell. Shankar picked up two wickets and gave away 32 runs in his quota of four overs.
He was also adjudged the man of the match.
Washington Sundar (5/10)
Washington Sundar bowled an economic spell as he gave away just 23 runs in his four overs. Despite being so economical, Sundar was unable to pick up a wicket in the second match.
Shardul Thakur-(6/10)
After receiving some handful hammering in the first T20I against Sri Lanka, Shardul Thakur made a decent return to form in the second match as he picked up one wicket and gave away just 25 runs in his four overs.
Jaydev Unadkat- (7/10)
Jaydev Unadkat was the most effective bowler in the Indian team as he picked up three crucial wickets in the second match. However, he was on the expensive side as he gave away 38 runs in his four overs.
Yuzvendra Chahal- (6/10)
Yuzvendra Chahal was the most economical bowler from the Indian side as he gave away just 19 runs in his quota of four overs. He also managed to pick up one wicket of the danger man Liton Das.
