Multan Sultans’ juggernaut continues to roll on in this edition of PSL. This time, it is their ace leggie Imran Tahir who yet again flattened the opposition with his spirited performance.

The thirteenth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) saw Quetta Gladiators clash against the form team of this PSL edition, Multan Sultans. After winning the toss, Shoaib Malik elected to bowl first, putting the Gladiators to bat first.

As it turned out, the star-studded line up of Quetta could not save them the embarrassment of being bundled out for 1o2. After the end of the powerplay, Quetta was cruising at 46-2, after losing a couple of early wickets.

However, it went spiralling down for Quetta after the dismissal of Mahmudullah, with the scoreboard at 92. The men in purple lost 6 of their wickets by adding just 10 runs to the total in a span of three overs.

It was South African limited over specialist Imran Tahir who orchestrated the entire collapse with his second hattrick in T20 cricket. Lennox Cush, Yuvraj Singh, Tim Southee, and Al-Amin Hossain are the other cricketers to have two hattricks to his name.

Andrew Tye and Amit Mishra still top the list for the most number of wickets in T20 Cricket. Both Tye and Mishra clinched three hattricks in their T20 Career.

Imran Tahir first bamboozled Hasan Khan, the second ball of the 16th over, missing a slider from Tahir and getting bowled.

His next victim was John Hastings, whom Tahir dismissed in a similar fashion, and then went on a run to complete his trademark celebration. Tahir achieved his hattrick and also bundled the Gladiators out with the wicket of Rahat Ali off a leg before.
