Twitter Reacts As Mumbai Indians Annihilate CSK In Lopsided Contest

Defending champions Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2020 contest on Friday to put one foot in the play-offs. Mumbai Indians chased down the paltry total in 13 overs by 10 wickets to spare registering 14 points in the IPL 2020 points table — tied with Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Asked to bat, CSK batting line-up registered a collapse as they were 71/8 before English all-rounder Sam Curran held the fort for his side and notched up a half-century. His 47-ball 52 runs knock was laced with four boundaries and two hits over the fence. Imran Tahir who remained unbeaten on 13 runs played a perfect second fiddle to him.

CSK fans were upset with the performance of their side. They displayed their emotions on the social media while Mumbai Indians fans had a contrasting emotion as their team continues to make them proud.
