Usman Khawaja slammed a marvellous century in ongoing Australia vs England 4th Test at Sydney Cricket Ground. Twitter was on fire after watching his batting and fans applauded him for his marvellous comeback in Tests. Moreover, spectators at Sydney Cricket Ground also gave a standing ovation to the left-handed batsman.
Batting first in the match, Australia got off to a great start with the top three batsmen scoring in the thirties. Later, Steve Smith slammed 67 runs to take Australia to a good total. With a good total on board, no.5 Usman Khawaja also added to Australia’ batting domination in the match. He slammed a century, his 9th in Test cricket.

Khawaja, who was out of Australia’s Test squad for almost a few years, has made a comeback to the Test side in The Ashes 2021-22. The middle-order batsman was benched in the first three Tests. However, after his selection in the playing XI in the AUS vs ENG 4th Test, he gathered all the limelight with his excellent piece of batting.

Usman Khawaja is currently unbeaten in the match, with 120 runs off 225 deliveries. Australia have reached 361-7 on day 2 of the match and are in the driver’s seat.
