Fans Slam Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma For Hypocrisy Over Daughter Vamika's Pictures

Vamika Kohli, daughter of cricketer Virat Kohli and Actress Anushka Sharma, was clicked at a cricket stadium and her pictures went viral on social media.
Previously, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have avoided sharing the pictures of their daughter Vamika on social media platforms and have requested paparazzi and media, to not publish pictures of their daughter.

However, for the very first time, Vamika’s face was revealed, during the third One Day International of three-match One Day International series between India and South Africa at the Newlands, Cape Town on, Sunday, January 23.
During the match, Virat Kohli brought up his fifty off 63 balls in the 5th ball of the 25th over, which was bowled by Andile Phehlukwayo and he was seen celebrating his half-century milestone with a cradling gesture for his daughter Vamika, who was born on 11 January 2021.
Anushka and Vamika were watching the match when the official broadcasters panned the camera to the stands showing them cheering for Virat.
After Vamika’s pictures went viral on social media, Actor Anushka Sharma and cricketer Virat Kohli put out an official statement in which Anushka stated that she was caught off guard and she did not know that the camera was on them. Anushka wrote:
“Hi guys! We realise that our daughter’s images were captured at the stadium yesterday and widely shared thereafter. We want to inform everyone that we were caught off guard and didn’t know that the camera was on us. Our stance and request on the matter stays the same. We would really appreciate if Vamika’s images are not clicked/published for reasons we have explained earlier.” Virat shared the same note on his Instagram Stories.
Meanwhile, fans on Twitter slammed Virat and Anushka for their hypocrisy over their daughter Vamika’s pictures.
