After struggling with a series of low scores in IPL 2021, Suryakumar Yadav came up to the top during Mumbai Indians’ match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. The right-handed batsman smacked a quickfire half-century off just 24 balls. Later, he got out for 82 runs off 40 balls on Jason Holder’s delivery.

Fans shared many tweets on Twitter to laud the MI batsman for his impressive knock. Yadav hit 13 fours and 3 sixes during his knock. Mumbai Indians reached 235-9 in the match in 20 overs batting first. Mumbai Indians have an impossible task of defeating SRH by 171 runs or more to make an entry into the playoffs.

Mumbai Indians currently take the 6th spot in the points table with 12 points. KKR take the 4th spot in the points table with 14 points. Moreover, KKR have a net run rate of +0.587 while MI have an NNR of -0.048. Hence, Mumbai Indians have the difficult task of surpassing KKR’s net run rate with a mammoth victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
