The fans of the Indian cricket team are not at all happy with team India’s selection choices in the first T20I against England. Indian fans have lashed out at skipper Virat Kohli and the Indian team management for not including Rohit Sharma in the playing XI for the first T20I. It is notable that Virat Kohli had mentioned in the press conference a day ago that Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul will open for India.

However, when Virat came for the toss in the first T20I against England, he informed that Rohit will be resting for the first couple of T20Is. He maintained that Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul will open for the first two games against England. Also, Suryakumar Yadav was not included in the side as Shreyas Iyer came in at number four.

The English team will be looking to clinch early wickets in the Indian innings as they will look to take an early lead in the five-match series. On the other hand, the Indian cricket team will look to give a huge total to the visitors to chase. KL Rahul departed early in the innings as England gave heavy blows to the Indian team first up.
