The Twitter family lashed out at England batsman Ben Duckett who called the Indian skipper Virat Kohli a joke. Duckett had replied to Cricket Shots Tweet when the Twitter handle had asked its fans to complete the sentence, “Virat Kohli is a ………”. Duckett had written Kohli is a joke after the talisman smashed his 41st ODI hundred against Australia in the third Ranchi One Day International.

Consequently, Ben Duckett tweet didn’t go down well with the Indian fans. Thus, Duckett was trolled all over the social media platform. On the other hand, Virat Kohli was at his best as he had scored back to back hundreds in the last match against Australia.
Duckett actually tweeted in a good way.
Kohli scored 123 off just 95 balls which his 66th International century. Hence, Kohli was at his best as he brought another piece de resistance to the table. However, Kohli’s masterpiece went in vain as India lost the match by 32 runs. In fact, this was only the fourth occasion when Kohli’s hundred was wasted.
Thus, Kohli is rewriting the history books as he is batting in the league of his own. The talisman batsman has been the most consistent batsman in the world and he is currently the best batter in both ICC Test rankings and ODI Rankings. On the other hand, Ben Duckett has thus far played only four Test and three ODIs for England. He is also regarded as a bunny to Ravichandran Ashwin.
Meanwhile, Australia was able to stay afloat in the series as they were 2-0 down in the series. Ergo, it was a must-win match for the visitors. Usman Khawaja scored his maiden ODI hundred and Australian skipper Aaron Finch was able to get back into form. Khawaja was awarded the Man of the match for scoring 104.
