Talking about Wriddhiman Saha’s innings with the bat, the keeper batter played a blinder of a knock at the top of the order. He came out all guns blazing and smashed 81 runs in 43 balls. He stitched a valiant 142 runs partnership with Shubman Gill (94*) and helped his side post a total of 227 runs on the board.
GT vs LSG: Gujarat Titans thump Lucknow Super Giants by 56 runs
Based on the staggering opening partnership by Shubman Gill and Wridhhman Saha, Gujarat Titans posted a total of 227 runs on the board. Skipper Hardik Pandya (25) and David Miller (21) also chipped in with crucial knocks.
While defending the target, they came under a bit of pressure at the top but after they chipped in with quick wickets. Mohit Sharma took a four-wicket haul whereas Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmed picked 1 wicket each as GT restricted LSG to 171 runs and won the game by 56 runs.
