The 35th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 took place between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It was just a forgettable night for the five-time champions as they were outplayed in all three departments.

Bowling first, after winning the toss, Mumbai Indians bowlers were smashed all over the park by the GT batters. They looked clueless to the onslaught by the opponents and conceded 207 runs. With the bat too, they had a poor outing as they lost wickets in clusters and didn’t get going at all.

After they lost wickets early, Nehal Wadhera played some impressive strokes during the fag end of the innings and looked good to the eyes. He tried to take his side close to the target but in the process made veteran Piyush Chawla run out.

It was during the 18th over when Mohit Sharma bowled a slower delivery outside off to which Piyush Chawla didn’t offer the shot. Nehal Wadhera, who was at the other end, started running despite the keeper grabbing the ball. He reached the crease but Chawla wasn’t interested and ended up sacrificing his wicket.
