IPL 2022: Watch - Virat Kohli Almost Breaks Stumps In Anger After Getting Bowled In Nets Ahead Of RCB vs MI Clash

Virat Kohli is one intense individual and gets into a zone whenever he bats, whether it is in a match or in the nets. In an instance shared on Twitter, Virat Kohli can be seen in anger after being dismissed in a practice session ahead of the IPL 2022 clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) on April 9.

Royal Challengers Bangalore will face a tough challenge from Mumbai Indians, who are hurting from having lost all of their first three matches in the ongoing IPL 2022 edition. RCB, meanwhile, have won two out of their three matches.

Rohit Sharma-led MI team’s bowling attack has emerged as a visible weakness and Kohli will look to take advantage of it. Apart from Jasprit Bumrah, there is an evident lack of quality in the MI bowling attack especially with Jofra Archer being unavailable for the season.

Virat Kohli Almost Breaks Stumps In Anger After Being Clean Bowled In Nets

While Virat Kohli has had starts in the ongoing Indian Premier League, he has not gone on to take advantage of the same, having made just 58 runs in 3 matches for RCB. Kohli played a sublime unbeaten knock of 41 in 29 balls but only got 12 runs against KKR. In the clash against RR, he was run-out while batting at just 5 runs at the Wankhede Stadium.

Given his below-par start to the tournament, one can expect Kohli to score a big knock and get his form and confidence back. RCB’s clash against Mumbai Indians (MI) on Saturday (April 9) at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium in Pune, will give him the perfect opportunity to do so.

On the eve of the match, Kohli was seen preparing intently in the nets and got irritated after he was bowled by a leg-spinner trying to cut the delivery. In a viral video, he can be seen taking his anger out on the stumps and almost breaking them.
