Indian opener KL Rahul scored a blistering half-century against Scotland following which his rumored girlfriend, Athiya Shetty, was seen celebrating in the stands alongside Rohit Sharma’s Wife, Ritika Sajdeh.

Chasing a paltry target of 86, Rahul and Rohit Sharma set out to achieve the target in under 7.1 overs. Doing so would take India’s net run rate past that of Afghanistan and New Zealand. And the openers were able to do exactly that for the team.

They blazed away to 50 in just 3.5 overs, the fastest team fifty in the 2021 T20 World Cup so far. Both openers played some sizzling strokes but fell just as the team reached closer to the total. Birthday boy, Virat Kohli, and Suryakumar Yadav completed the formalities to record a commanding win.

During the innings, Rahul reached his fifty in just eighteen balls, the fastest in the tournament so far. The moment he reached the milestone, the cameras panned to Athiya Shetty, the daughter of actor, Suniel Shetty, and rumored-to-be Rahul’s girlfriend.

Here’s Athiya Shetty’s reaction to KL Rahul’s fifty:

Earlier, it was Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammad Shami who did the damage with the ball, ending with identical figures of 3/15. Jasprit Bumrah chipped in with a couple of wickets, and he finished the job he started with a ripping yorker. India is now in third place on the Group 2 table but continues to depend on the result of Afghanistan vs New Zealand.
