The right-hander posted a video on Instagram where he is training with Bennie Bester and Kruger van Wyk in Pretoria ahead of his leaving for India. Ab de Villiers had kept an iPhone below the bowling machine while he bats.

A full-length delivery is hurled towards the maestro batsman; AB strikes back, with a gorgeous straight drive making a thudding on impact, as the ball crashed back to the phone placed!

“Iphone out! @iplt20 prep with Cricket guru @bennie.bester.10 and @krugervanwyk . Thanks manne,” AB de Villiers captioned the post.

How ominous these are the signs for the bowlers, we will find out soon in the IPL. However, AB just like Virat Kohli, and RCB fans would want to end their title drought sooner after finishing fourth last year.

The 37-year-old was in thunderous form in the IPL, despite not playing international cricket, he has kept up with his elite batting and fitness standards. AB smashed 454 runs last season at an average of 45.40 and a strike rate of 158.74; he was invariably tasked with bailing the team out of difficult situations.
