Delhi Capitals’ veteran spinner Amit Mishra has made the Mumbai Indians’ batsmen dance to his tunes in their ongoing bout in Chennai. Kieron Pollard proved to be Amit Mishra’s third casualty of the day as he trapped the swashbuckling all-rounder LBW as it struck him on the back leg and did not matter despite taking the review. The defending champions collapsed from 67-1 to 84-6.

Kieron Pollard’s dismissal in the 12th over as the 33-year old failed to pick the slower wrong’un completely, leading to the ball hitting the back pad. Though Pollard decided to opt for the review, the tracker returned umpire’s call on the middle stump and the move from the umpire stood. It was Mishra’s third wicket in as many as three overs and a vital one since the West Indian all-rounder caused damage at the backend in the last match.

Amit Mishra came into the side for rookie left-arm seamer Lukman Meriwala and the other change from the Delhi Capitals was Chris Woakes’ swapping for Shimron Hetmyer. In his second over, the veteran leg-spinner got rid of Rohit Sharma for 44 and Hardik Pandya for a first-ball duck. On the other hand, Marcus Stoinis and Avesh Khan got rid of Quinton De Kock and Suryakumar Yadav, respectively, while Lalit Yadav removed Krunal Pandya.
