Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah smashed a mighty six off South African pacer, Kagiso Rabada, which left a smile on TV Presenter and Bumrah’s wife, Sanjana Ganesan, on Day 2 of the Johannesburg Test.
Bumrah walked out to bat after Mohammed Shami was dismissed and he played a small cameo which helped push India’s total past 200. All his runs came in a single over bowled by Rabada, perhaps one of the world’s best bowlers.
It involved a six off a well-directed bouncer which is quite the achievement on bouncy South African pitches, especially for a tail-ender. The six also brought a smile on the face of Sanjana, who was seen cheering on from the stands.

Despite the lower-order resistance, all India could muster from their first innings was 202. Having won the toss and opting to bat first, the total seems to be quite under-par. However, there is quite a bit of assistance in the surface for the pacers.
Dean Elgar and Keegan Petersen kept the South African boat floating in the first session on Day 2 as well. They saw off the first hour of play without losing a wicket, albeit scoring at a slow rate. However, with more than 10 sessions left in the Test, anything can happen and the Indians will be keen to pick up early wickets after Lunch.
