Indian captain Rohit Sharma lost his cool once again in the third and final T20I against Sri Lanka ongoing in Dharamshala on Sunday. The incident occurred in the 16th over of the Lankan batting innings.
Chamika Karunaratne was on strike when Harshal Patel attempted a very sharp bouncer. The bumper bowled at 131 kmph arrived faster than what the wicket-keeper, Sanju Samson, judged.
As a result, it slipped through his gloves and raced away to the boundary. The extras weren’t well-received by Rohit, who stared down angrily at Samson. The 34-year-old Mumbaikar has been far more aggressive, something that is rarely seen when he is leading Mumbai Indians in the IPL.

Earlier, Sri Lanka opted to bat first in the final game, hoping to set up a fighting total like the previous match. However, they were blown away by the Indian new ball bowling combo of Avesh Khan and Mohammed Siraj.
The duo bowled out the entire powerplay and conceded just 18 runs while taking three wickets in the process. It was once again left to Dasun Shanaka to rebuild the innings and finish it off.
The skipper managed to do just that in quite a stunning fashion. From 29/4, Shanaka took his team to 146/5. He scored 74 off 38 balls, the knock including nine fours and two humongous sixes. The surface is good to bat on and India’s batting is in prime touch. It will be tough for the Lankans to salvage a win from the final T20I.
