SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) CEO, Kaviya Maran is always involved in her team and she has been one of the most looked out for faces whenever SRH take to the field. Be it in the IPL auction or be it during the tournament, Kaviya Maran makes sure she is there with her side at all times.
IPL 2021 didn’t begin on a good note for SunRisers Hyderabad. They lost all three of their opening matches at Chennai and were at the bottom of the IPL 2021 points table when the game against Punjab Kings (PBKS) began on Wednesday. SRH registered their first win of IPL 2021 beating Punjab Kings by 9 wickets and Kaviya Maran couldn’t help her emotions.

Punjab Kings won the toss in Chennai and elected to bat first on a deadly spinning track. The SRH bowlers were right on the cue as they didn’t spare any Punjab batsman and dismissed the entire team for a total of 120 runs. As they walked into bat, captain David Warner and Jonny Bairstow gave a fiery start to SRH and later, Bairstow finished the match with Kane Williamson.
In the three losses that SRH had suffered so far, Kaviya had been the talking point on the internet after every match as she seemed to be visibly upset with her team. However, on Wednesday, she got emotional as SRH touched the finishing line and now a video has surfaced online where she can be seen getting emotional after a Jonny Bairstow six in the 19th over of the SRH innings.

Jonny Bairstow Adjudged As The Man Of The Match
English wicketkeeper-batsman, Jonny Bairstow was awarded the Man of the Match after his scintillating knock against Punjab helped SRH register their first win of the campaign. Bairstow scored 63 runs off 56 balls and remained not out. David Warner also made a decent contribution as he scored 37 runs off 37 balls.
SunRisers Hyderabad have now gone on the 5th spot in the IPL 2021 points table. Punjab Kings, on the other hand, have lost 3 out of their 4 games so far and have hit the rock bottom of the points table.
