The game between Hyderabad and Mumbai at Bangalore in Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018 has pulled the crowd to the stadium with the major players taking part in it. Meanwhile,  the fielders of Hyderabad are making a mess of it by dropping the crucial catches. They dropped the in-form batsman Prithvi Shaw twice in an over of Mohammed Siraj.

In the first innings, Hyderabad posted a moderate total on the board asking Mumbai to chase. While doing so, Prithvi Shaw started the things in fine fashion by going after the bowlers. However, Siraj got better of the youngster for a couple of times in the over but the fine-leg fielder Ravi Kiran made a mess of it.

As it happened:

Initially, it was Hyderabad, who won the toss and asked Mumbai to bowl first. But, the decision wasn’t helped them as Tushar Deshpande knocked out both the openers for a cheap score.

However, the youngster Rohit Rayudu took the stage to showcase his talent to the Indian board. He smashed a brilliant century by knocking the boundaries more often than not.

Despite Rohit Rayudu being on top of the game, he never got the required partnership from the other end to boost the total. His scintillating unbeaten 121* helped Hyderabad put 246 on the board.

In reply to the chase, Prithvi Shaw and Rohit Sharma started the things in a fine fashion. Prithvi Shaw (61), in particular, gone berserk after taking a couple of chances given by Ravi Kiran.

Just when things looked in favour of Mumbai, Mehedi Hasan made his way to send Rohit Sharma and Prithvi Shaw back to the hut. However, Shreyas Iyer and Rahane paired to carry the ship before rain intervening after the completion of 25 overs.
