Mumbai advances to the final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

Moreover, Rohit Sharma is at his peak as he has scored plenty of runs in the Asia Cup 2018. Rohit also proved that he is fit enough to field in the slip position. He took an excellent catch of Hyderabad batsman Bavanaka Sandeep.

Shams Mulani bowled to Sandeep and the catch went low to Rohit Sharma at first slip and kept dipping on him. However, he had it covered and got the fingers under it just in time. Sandeep wasn’t convinced though, as he remained unmoved at the crease and forced the umpires to refer it upstairs.

However, it was a clean catch by Indian limited overs deputy. Perhaps the batsman was regretting the stroke he had played. It was a harmless delivery from Mulani, flat and short outside off, however, Sandeep just chose the wrong shot. He went for the late cut with the slip in place, and the ball went straight to Rohit Sharma who took it with ease.

Mumbai advanced themselves into the final which is scheduled on October 20 (Saturday).
