The wives of Indian skipper Virat Kohli and opener Shikhar Dhawan engaged themselves in a brawl during the England tour. Moreover, India is currently playing the first Test match of the two-match Test series against Windies. The team management decided to make many changes in the squad after the massive loss against England. The regular skipper, Virat Kohli returned into the squad after being rested from Asia Cup.

Meanwhile, there are some reports of a rift between Anushka Sharma and Ayesha Dhawan.

However, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officially said that Ayesha and Anushka were good friends.

Moreover, Shikhar Dhawan played some impressive cricket in Asia Cup but showed some poor performance on the English soil. In addition to that, Dhawan started well but was unable to convert his starts into big scores. Many experts also questioned his credentials to play in the red ball format.

Furthermore, it is not all between the spouse of Shikhar and Kohli outside the cricket pitch. According to Dainik Jagran report, there has been an uneasiness between Anushka and Ayesha on the latter’s husband’s omission from the team. The report also adds that whenever Anushka is with the team, she is sometimes present for batsmen team meetings.

Virat Kohli had also arranged for passes for both of them for the second England-India ODI in London. However, Ayesha had said that she has not spoken anything regarding her family to Anushka, and since then, the duo has been separated. Meanwhile, when Kohli was asked on this matter, he didn’t comment on the topic.

Meanwhile, Shikhar Dhawan was honored as the ‘Man of the Series’ in the Asia Cup as he became the leading run scorer of the tournament. He scored 342 runs along with a couple of centuries against Hong Kong in the Group stage and Pakistan in the Super four stage. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was also the highest run-getter in the Test series against England as he scored 593 runs. He was crowned as India’s Man of the Series.
