India vs Bangladesh game delivered yet another masterpiece to the fans. It was in the U19 Asia Cup 2018 when India emerged out as the winners by just two runs. It was once again a tough day for the Bangladeshi fans, as their hopes to dent India once again missed by a whisker.

Shoriful Islam delivers with the ball for Bangladesh:

Initially, it was the Indian team, who won the toss and chose to bat first. The Bangladesh bowlers responded well with a wicket for just three runs on the board. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Anuj Rawat paired up to balance the ship.

Just when things looked settled for the Indian side, Bangladesh struck four wickets in the span of eight runs. All of the sudden, the table turned in Bangladesh favour thus leaving Indians reeling with 77/5 on the board.

However, Ayush’s 28 and Sameer’s 36 kept India make their way towards 200. During the course, Bangladeshi bowlers once again made an impact by knocking out the rest of the lineup in quick succession to see scorecard read 172 on the board.

Mohit and Siddhanth win it for India:

In reply to the chase, the Bangladeshi team got the poor start, as they lost their openers for 21 runs on the board. Indian bowlers were quite brilliant in delivering the ball on those right line and lengths to make the life tough for batsmen.

However, Mahamadul and Shamim Hossain brought back Bangladesh into the game by putting Indians chase the leather more often than not. They both shared a decent 74-run partnership for the 6th wicket to send the fear down the spine for Indians.

Then came the major jolt when Siddhanth dismissed Mahmadul. Despite the wicket, the Bangladeshi side was in the game for the most of the time. However, the brilliant captaincy by Prasbhsimran led the Indian team to taste success once again.

Though it was required only two runs in the last four overs, the run out by Ayush Badoni helped India thump Bangladesh. All in all, it was a thriller at Dhaka.
