Watch: Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma Spotted Playing Cricket Together

Virat Kohli, the captain of the Indian cricket team, took out his training shoes on Friday, amidst all the talks about resumption of the individual skill-based outdoor training for cricketers from next week.

Taking the initiative, Kohli took to his balcony where he did a light jogging session.

Putting in the work is a way of life and not a requirement of the profession. The choice is yours,” wrote Virat Kohli on his Instagram post.

And, post that, the Indian captain decided to play some cricket with his Bollywood actress wife Anushka Sharma. In a video that is going viral on the social media, the Indian captain can be seen bowling underarm deliveries to his wife Anushka.

Post that, Kohli takes the bat, puts on his gloves, and asks Anushka to bowl a few deliveries at him. Sharma starts off with a bouncer which is ably defended by Kohli and she follows it up with a fullish wide delivery which was too far away from the reach of the 31-year-old Indian captain. The video also shows a person who is fielding and wicketkeeping in the session.

Meanwhile, the Board of Control for Cricket in India [BCCI] is planning to start an isolation camp for the Indian cricketers at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. But since Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are in Mumbai where the lockdown is likely to stay in full force post-May 17, the duo might not take part in the Isolation camp.

“For players like Kohli and Rohit, the restrictions are there in Mumbai and might stay,” said Arun Dhumal, the treasurer of the Board of Control for Cricket in India [BCCI].

Meanwhile, the BCCI is also waiting for the Central government directives on the fourth phase of the Lockdown and post that it will be preparing the Standard-Operating Procedures for all the cricketers.
