India skipper Virat Kohli has condemned the heinous rape-murder case that took place in Hyderabad earlier this week. 27-year old doctor Priyanka Reddy was raped by four men before being burned. The charred body of the young woman was found under a culvert in Chatanpally on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru national highway on Thursday morning.

According to Police, the doctor was abducted on Wednesday night after she left her scooter near an expressway toll booth. The four men are alleged to have deflated a tyre whilst she was away and offered to help when she returned to collect it. The victim called her younger sister to say she was stranded and that a group of men had offered to fix her scooter.

The woman said she was afraid, according to her sister’s testimony to police. The sister called back later but the victim’s phone was switched off. After raping the young doctor, the four set her body on fire to make her unrecognizable. The four accused Md Pasha, Naveen from Gudigandla, cleaner Kesavulu, and an assistant named Siva have confessed to their crime.
