Virat Kohli Congratulates Newly-Wed Manish Pandey And Ashrita Shetty

Team India cricketer Manish Pandey on December 3 (Monday) tied knots actress Ashrita Shetty in Mumbai a day after he led Karnataka to Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. His teammate and India skipper Virat Kohli took to social media site Twitter to congratulate the newlywed couple.
Pandey led from the front in the Syed Mushtaq Ali final on Sunday in Lucknow, scoring an unbeaten 45-ball 60 as Karnataka made 180. The game constantly floated from one end to other during the chase with Tamil Nadu in an excellent position to the trophy home. But Karnataka held their nerves and bounced back in the final over to defend their title in style.

The 30-year-old Manish Pandey showed great commitment as he flew to Mumbai during odd hours to attend his marriage ceremony. He will now join the national squad on the 4th for the three-match T20I series against West Indies which starts on December 6 (Friday). Pandey, who has represented India in 23 ODIs and 32 T20Is will look to settle his berth in the India side in the shorter formats.
While social media was filled with congratulatory messages for Manish Pandey and his wife, Virat Kohli, also took time out to wish them. Kohli posted a heartfelt message on Twitter wishing Manish and Ashrita a happy and prosperous future. Meanwhile, the India skipper is currently spending some good time with his family and wife Anushka Sharma before he joins the squad for the upcoming series.
