Virat Kohli is the greatest ODI player of all time, Rohit in top-five: Aaron Finch
Meanwhile, Australia captain Aaron Finch showered praises on Indian captain and India limited-overs’ captain. He said Virat Kohli is probably the greatest One-Day International player of all-time while adding that Rohit Sharma is probably the top five batsmen of all time. He went on to add saying that Indian players know exactly what needs to be done to finish the job, especially in the big games.
“They’ve got Virat who is probably the greatest ODI player of all-time, and Rohit who’d probably be in the top five batters of all-time. They’re exceptional, and the thing with the Indian side at the moment is their experienced players are getting the job done in the big games,” Finch said as per TOI.
Shikhar Dhawan who walked off the field with a shoulder injury did not play the decider and KL Rahul opened the batting alongside Rohit Sharma. “Rohit’s 100, especially without Shikhar there tonight, for them to shuffle and their two most dominant players to still get a majority of the runs is a sign of a really settled and really quality top-order,” said Australia skipper at the post-match media interaction on Sunday night.
