Despite staying away from international cricket from nearly four months now, MS Dhoni has been constantly in the news and the reason is obvious. No cricketer has hogged the limelight as much as MS Dhoni in the last one decade or so. His inspirational journey from a humble background to the pinnacle of cricket has inspired millions.

However, the last few days of Dhoni’s glorious career is not panning out in an expected manner. The former India skipper has not played for the country since the end of the World Cup in July. With the media and fans focusing solely on his future, Dhoni decided to take a sabbatical from the game and is yet to return to action.
Virat Kohli missing Dhoni?
There is no denying that the fans are desperately missing MS Dhoni. Dhoni has been an ever-present figure in the Indian team since making his debut in 2004. He hardly took any break from the game before taking the ongoing sabbatical which came out of the blue. And it looks like not only the fans but India skipper Virat Kohli is also missing his senior teammate.
Kohli, who has never shied away from throwing his support behind his predecessor, took to Twitter to post an old photo of himself and MS Dhoni training in the nets. The India star called Dhoni his partner in crime as he wrote:
“Partners in crime?.. Crime : stealing doubles from fielders at the boundary ?. Guess who ?”

Dhoni, nonetheless, is unlikely to return to action any time soon. He has already missed the series against West Indies, South Africa and Bangladesh. Latest reports suggest that the former India captain is likely to be a part of the squad for the upcoming series against West Indies too.
