The major highlight of the current Indian National Cricket Team is all about their fast-bowling department. They have got the lethal fast bowlers, who can deliver the goods across the formats with ease, irrespective of the conditions. Speaking of the same, one of those bowlers Umesh Yadav showered words of praise on the head coach Ravi Shastri and the skipper Virat Kohli for igniting spirit in the team.
Umesh was part of the team led by Kohli, who won the first Test series against Australia in Australia in 2019. After the historic victory of the series, Team India coach Shastri said that this rhythm attack in India is the best we have ever had.
In 2019, Umesh played 8 Tests, taking 23 wickets. He is currently busy with the duties of the Ranji Trophy for his home team, Vidarbha.

Umesh stated that Shastri and Kohli motivated the bowling department to deliver the goods for the team.
Both of them guided and motivated team to become the best bowling attack in the world cricket, especially in Test format of the game. He is hopeful of maintaining the tag with their performances on the field.

”Mr Ravi (Shastri) rated our bowling as the best because he has seen us bowling and sweating on the net. Our coach (Shastri) and captain ( Virat Kohli ) have shown confidence in us and have guided us. They motivate us. That is why we have earned the best label in the world. It is a great thing for us. We will make sure to keep this label every time we go out to the field and represent our country, ”said Umesh.

Furthermore, Umesh added that he is pretty happy to be part of such a brilliant bowling department. He believes they can deliver for the team in any conditions or situations of the game.
Umesh also highlighted the rapport among the fast bowlers, which helps them to come good.

“I am proud to be part of this bowling attack. The best part is that the four, Bumrah, Shami, Ishant and I, are capable of bowling over 140 km/h. We are performing well and taking wickets. We all have qualities to perform in any condition. Give us any condition and situation, we will go and perform. That is what makes us stand out. Bumrah, Shami, Ishant and I enjoyed each other’s company. We turn in unison. We all complement each other, ”he said.
Umesh last played for India in the series against Bangladesh at home. He will next be in the action when India lock horns with New Zealand in 2-match Test series, which will be part of ICC World Test Championship.
