"Exciting Times": Virat Kohli On RCB Qualifying For IPL Playoffs After 3 Years

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) captain Virat Kohli is a happy man as his franchise has qualified for the IPL playoffs for the first time in three years. RCB will take on SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the eliminator. The winner will play against Delhi Capitals in the Qualifier 2 to find a spot in the final.
RCB have registered a decent season so far with consistency their major concern. Aaron Finch has looked out of touch. Kohli will however expect his team come stronger in the eliminator with an opportunity to lift their maiden IPL title in 13 years.

Kohli said that it is a great feeling to qualify in the final four. He also mentioned that it will get more exciting in the coming days and the team is focused having got a great boost. The captain said that everyone in the RCB set up wants to go all the way.
“It’s a great feeling to part of the last 4. Qualification is something every team aims for initially and we have crossed that hurdle. It’s only exciting us more and more to be ready for what’s to unfold next week for us. Really exciting times.

RCB has the record of reaching three finals. RCB entered the final match last time in 2016 but since then they have been at the bottom of the table. Moreover, in 2019, the franchise finished last with just 5 wins from 14 matches.
