India skipper Virat Kohli, on Sunday, revealed the most satisfying clean bowled dismissal for him in cricket. The batting superstar was having a candid chat with his friend and India football superstar Sunil Chhetri when he made the interesting revelation.

With no action going on at the moment, both the stars decided to do a live session together on Instagram. In normal conditions, Virat Kohli would have been busy playing in the Indian Premier League where he would have been leading Royal Challengers Bangalore.

During the interaction, Virat Kohli referred to former India pacer Venkatesh Prasad castling former Pakistan batsman Aamir Sohail in the 1996 World Cup quarter-final in Bengaluru as one of the most iconic moments in country’s rich cricket history. The face-off between Prasad and Sohail is definitely one for the ages.

The iconic moment had taken place during the last eight stage of the showpiece event at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Sohail had hit Prasad for a boundary through the covers and then made an inappropriate gesture as he had a brain fade moment. The former Pakistan opener walked up to Prasad and pointed his bat at the region in which he had just hit the boundary.

What followed thereafter was sheer joy for Indian fans and Prasad. On the very next delivery, Prasad had ratted Sohail’s stumps and also gave him a proper send-off.

“Where were you exactly when Aamir Sohail hit Venkatesh Prasad for a boundary… trash talked… and then saw his stumps sent for a cartwheel right the next ball?” Chhetri asked.

In reply, Virat Kohli said: “I was at home. I celebrated in the same manner as I do today. For me, there is no clean bowled as satisfying as that in the history of the sport. It is one of the most iconic moments.

“That day, not many people in India would forget, regardless if you were a cricket fan or not,” Chhetri quipped.

“Those memories are golden memories,” Kohli added.
