Sehwag is a king of social media and has made a big name for himself following his retirement from International cricket. He has smashed several sixes during his cricketing career and is still smashing sixes, this time over the social media platform.

In a talk show named “What the Duck”, Sehwag revealed that he never posts anything on his social media handle without taking the permission of Sachin Tendulkar.

Sehwag was one of the feared batsmen of his generation. There wasn’t a single bowler who was spared by Sehwag during his career. He is one of the four batsmen to smash two triple centuries. He was in line to become the only player to smash three triple centuries.

However, it wasn’t possible after his dismissal at 293 against Sri Lanka in 2009.

Virender Sehwag changed the definition of batsmanship. He had a simple technique to his game which saw the ball and smashes it. He never moved towards the ball with his feet but was arguably the most successful Indian opener in Test cricket.

People will argue that Sunil Gavaskar was greater but just given the way he did about his business, Sehwag should get the not.

He was also the second player in One-day International history after his idol Sachin Tendulkar to score a double century in ODI’s.
