The 40-year-old Wasim Jaffer creates history during his outstanding knock in the ongoing Irani Trophy. Meanwhile, Ranji Champions Vidarbha is taking on Rest of India in the Irani Cup match at Nagpur.

Jaffer shited his base from Mumbai to Vidarbha and helped them win the Ranji Trophy. Also, he scored tons of runs to guide his side for the first title.

Vidarbha is currently on 598 for three at the end of second day’s play after they elected to bat first. The openers provided a good start posting 101 runs on the board before Jaffer came to the middle. He paced his innings brilliantly as Vidarbha piled on runs.

Ganesh Satish provided good support with a timely knock of 120 runs. Although Satish departed, Jaffer kept going. He took on every bowler and played some brilliant shots down the ground.
